Made it to Inverness, via the Lake District and Edinbugh - was great to see Sharon and Steve again... Tomorrow we catch a ship down to Oban on a fantastic holiday blagged by Helen, and we give up the car which has been our base for the past 3 days. The weather isn't great - this being the Highlands..... but the scenery is second to none. :)

Thanks to everyone who came out to wish us well over the last few weeks in London and Manchester - I've got quite a few cool piccies of everyone which I'll upload just as soon as I can get to a machine with a compact flash card reader!
We set off up north tommorow, taking three days to drive to Inverness for the next stage of our trip. We're then sailing down from Inverness to Oban via Loch Ness and the Isle of Mull, then we fly back to London at the beginning of May to get our passports back, and set off across Europe to Moscow.

Into our last full week in London - We are going back to Manchester on Good Friday to see friends and family etc. - and then back to London to pick up our passports (hopeully) full of visas in early May. The trans-siberian train is booked for the 29th May, can't wait to get out there!
